The Layer-only Auto rank expression reads each query by length and routes it: a bare author or title to hybrid_text (BM25 + fuzzy), a few words to both legs fused by reciprocal rank fusion, and a full sentence to semantic (ANN over embeddings). The badge shows which fired, and why. ~10,000 books from Goodreads.
